Plant seeds of all varieties around 2 cm deep. Plant seeds of bush beans 5 to 10cm apart in rows at least 40 to 60 cm apart. Plant seeds of pole beans 10 to 15 cm apart in rows 75 to 90 cms apart; or in hills (four to six seeds per hill) 75 cms inches apart, with 75cm between rows.
