Growing Chilli / Pepper seeds
Sowing
• Sow seeds around 3mm deep in punnets containing a good quality seed raising mix.
• Keep mix at around 23-25 deg C and the mix should be moist not wet
• Germination can take up to 21 days
• Once seedlings appear move to full light to prevent spindly growth
• Once seeds have germinated be sure to keep growing area around 18-24deg C during day and above 16deg C at night
Transplanting On
• Transplant seedlings on in to 50mm tubes when 3-4 true leaves have appeared
• Start to feed plants with a liquid fertiliser every week at half the manufacturers instructions
• Once seedlings get to big for tubes they can be potted up to 100mm pots or into the ground where they are to grow.
