These Coir Pellets are made from coconut husks and is about the best growing medium on the market today. The coir pellet is enclosed in a fine netting of material that holds the pellet together but is soft enough for easy root penetration. By using these pellets you will reduce transplant shock to a minimum resulting in better rates of survival of seedlings. 

Using the pellets is as simple of placing the pellets in some water and waiting for them to expand. When this has happened you place the seed in the hole at the top of the pellet, then gently squeeze the top edges together to cover the seed. When plants are growing roots from the sides of the pellet and they are big enough to go in the ground you just pop them straight in the soil.
